The Tengchong Earth Key Circle Observation and Research Station is the first Earth wide observation and research platform in China. It aims to build an integrated sky ground observation platform based on the significant volcanic and geothermal activity in Tengchong area and its existing observation foundation, to systematically understand the interaction processes between the Earth's internal system, surface system, and spatial environment system, and to analyze the effects of major natural disasters and global change. And relying on the International Meridian Circle Science Program and related space science satellite programs, we will enter space from volcanic geothermal energy, travel from border towns to the world, and create a highland for Earth space science observation and research and a science education base that radiates Southeast Asia and South Asia
