Recently, the Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism released a public notice on the recommended list of benchmark models for green scenic spots in 2023, revealing 50 proposed scenic spots. The Dongshan International Health and Wellness Resort Scenic Area in Tengchong, Baoshan City, has been selected as one of the only provincial-level benchmark models in Tengchong.

The Dongshan International Health and Wellness Resort Scenic Area is located on the east side of Tengchong City and is known as the "Ten Mile Emerald Screen". The scenic area was formerly a state-owned celery pond pasture, with the main landscape being alpine meadows, covering an area of about 20000 acres.

Dongshan has the best panoramic view overlooking Tengchong City. The beautiful scenery of Dongshan can be summarized as "Ball Eyes Evening Glow", "Beyond the Sky", "Big Cave Hot Springs", "Ten Mile Emerald Screen", "Sky City", and "Starry Sky Grassland". Among them, "Ball Eyes Evening Glow" and "Big Cave Hot Springs" are included in the "Twelve Scenic Spots" of Tengchong Ancient, which shows the unique charm of Dongshan.
